Hello, I’m Claire one of the equity release advisers here at Equity Release Supermarket.
I provide independent, whole of the market advice on lifetime mortgages, home reversion plans and retirement interest only mortgages.
With a passion for helping people, I previously spent 10 years working for one of the UK’s leading debt charities StepChange, I was a debt advisor for 4 years where I provided debt solutions to individuals facing financial difficulty and helping homeowners formulate a plan to help get back on track with their mortgage when struggling financially.
In 2019, I transitioned into advising on Equity Release, and by using my debt advice experience, I’ve gained a deep understanding of the emotional and practical challenges clients face when in financial difficulty.

Away from work, I am based in Leeds in West Yorkshire. I love coffee and seek out independent coffee shops wherever I visit. I appreciate the skill of good latte art and try and practice this at home….but this is still work in progress!
