Hello, I’m Dave..

I’ve worked in Financial Services for over 30 years — first with a major UK bank, and later running my own mortgage company. In 2017, I moved into the equity release world, spending much of that time with Age Partnership. It didn’t take long for me to realise I’d found the part of financial services where I could genuinely make a difference.

What I enjoy most about equity release is seeing the change it can bring to someone’s life. For some clients, it’s finally booking the holidays they’ve dreamed about. For others, it’s installing a new kitchen, clearing an existing mortgage, or simply freeing up enough income each month to breathe a little easier. Helping people reach those moments is what keeps me passionate about what I do.

Joining Equity Release Supermarket felt like a natural next step. Mark and the team share the same energy and commitment to later-life lending that I’ve always had, and I’m proud to be part of an organisation that puts clients first. Working with a whole-of-market firm also means I can recommend from the full range of products available - giving every client a solution that truly fits.

The market itself has evolved rapidly in recent years. Today’s plans offer far more flexibility: optional payments to help preserve inheritance, interest-control options, drawdown features, and in some cases the ability to repay early without penalties. My role is to walk you through all of this in a straightforward, relaxed way - no pressure, no jargon - so you feel informed, comfortable and confident at every step.

Away from work, I live in Warrington, Cheshire with my wife, our two boys and Monty, our much-loved Newfoundland. Most of my spare time is spent watching the lads play football, rugby and mixed martial arts, or taking Monty on long walks. I’ve supported Liverpool FC since Kenny Dalglish scored the winner in the 1978 European Cup Final - which means life has included plenty of highs…and a few lows.
