Hello, I’m David, one of the equity release specialists here at Equity Release Supermarket.
While working as a stockbroker and financial adviser in 2008, I became interested in equity release, as well as advising on pensions and investments.
I starting focussing fully on equity release a few years ago as I wanted to do more to help people realise their hopes and dreams. I joined Equity Release Supermarket because of their great reputation in the industry and how they focus on looking after clients throughout the journey.
What I enjoy most is listening to each client’s story. Everyone has different dreams and aspirations, whether it is paying off an existing mortgage, clearing up outstanding financial issues, home improvements or the opportunity to travel. Only by listening to each client’s individual needs is it possible to give the best advice from the whole of the market.
I am always focused on the client’s goals and will give you the best advice I can in an open and honest way. If that turns out to be an equity release plan, then I will take the time to explain it fully and answer any questions you might have. If it turns out to not be the right thing for you at the present time, then I will explain why that is.

I am fortunate to be based in Edinburgh where I live with my wife, daughter and little dog. We enjoy all that the vibrant city has to offer, but also explore the UK and abroad when we get the chance.
