Hi I’m Stuart,
My career in the financial services industry began in 1991 with Norwich Union, where I stayed for a total of 19 years, including the transition over to the Aviva brand, with the last 12 years advising clients on equity release.
When Aviva closed their Direct to Consumer advice arm, I left to broaden my experience and became an Independent Financial Adviser, advising clients across a wide range of financial services products.
As an independent adviser I now specialise in equity release, providing independent and impartial advice in helping clients find the best plan for their personal requirements.
I decided to join Equity Release Supermarket in 2018 because they place a great emphasis on ethical working and doing what is right for the client. A smooth process allows clients to make an informed decision based on all the factors that need to be considered before they can make what is often - one of their most important financial decisions.
Allowing clients the time to familiarise themselves with the concept of Equity Release is crucial. From personal experience I have seen how equity release can be life changing, allowing people to fulfill their retirement dreams.
Equity Release Supermarket is an award-winning company with a dedicated support team to help your journey run as smoothly as possible. We believe that you should have as much information as you feel necessary to make an informed decision and in addition to our advice service, we offer web-based tools for those that want to conduct some of the research themselves into plans, products and rates.
I live in Epsom, Surrey with my wife and four children. When I have the chance, I love to play squash and tennis as well as riding my bike across the Surrey Hills. I previously had a short career as a professional squash player and coach. When I have time, I still enjoy playing and coaching today.
One of my favourite hobbies is reading sports autobiographies and I always have the latest release book on the go.
